Step 1: Emergency Contact
Our process begins with your call or email. Our experts will begin with questions regarding the fire that will help us respond properly, with the appropriate equipment and resources.
Step 2: Inspection and Damage Assessment
We carefully inspect and test the impacted space and any adjacent rooms of your property to determine the extent of the fire and soot damage. This step is crucial to developing a plan of action.
Step 3: Board-Up and Tarp Service
Fire often damages windows, walls, and roofs. To maintain your home’s security and protect against additional damage, we will board up missing windows and walls and place tarps on damaged roofs.
Step 4: Water Removal and Drying (if needed)
Depending on the scope of the fire, there may be water damage as well. When there is, our water removal process begins immediately to remove the majority of the water. We then use dehumidifiers and air movers to remove the rest of the water, allowing restoration to continue.
Step 5: Removal of Soot
When smoke comes into contact with a surface, it adheres as soot. That soot remains unless it is removed. We use specialized equipment to completely remove soot from ceilings, walls, and other surfaces.
Step 6: Cleaning and Sanitizing
We clean, sanitize, and disinfect all of the restored items and structures damaged by the fire. We use a variety of cleaning techniques to restore your home and posessions to their pre-fire condition. We also remove odors with industrial air scrubbers cleaning equipment.
Step 7: Restoration
Finally, we restore your home or business to its pre-fire condition. Restoration often involves repairs like replacing drywall, painting, and installing new carpet. It may also entail major repairs such as the reconstruction of various areas or entire rooms.
